A George III (c 1780) mahogany card table with beautiful satinwood line inlay. This is a superb example of period card table with stunning dark colouration and patina with its traditional swivel and folding top design. The table top decorated with a satinwood line inlay with a diamond shape centre.
This quality mahogany card table has a fully functional swivel and hinged lid enclosing a green round baize interior.
The table stands firmly on tapering legs terminating in elegant pad feet. The table is in wonderful original condition with minor elements limited to a small buckle of the wood inside the table, some marks on the green baize and a separation of this where it folds in the centre.
