This is a lovely antique Edwardian (c 1910) bookcase in mahogany with a cross banded inlaid with two glazed doors and three shelves. The doors of the bookcase retains the original glass and – working, locking mechanism with its own original key. The height adjustable shelves are also in mahogany . The cross banded inlay adds an elegant accent to this lovely antique piece. The cabinet stands on a plinth.

Condition report: .The wood of the top of the cabinet has shrunk and a line can be seen as per photographs. The veneer at the bottom front - on the right hand in side of the plinth is missing and the wood has been stained accordingly. The wood of the plinth on the right side has been replaced. One shelf has a ring mark. All of the above is mentioned for accuracy and believed to be a testimony of the age and use of this very fine old piece of antique furniture.
