A fine Georgian mahogany cross banded Pembroke table of fine original colour and patina. This lovely and useful Pembroke table is in figured mahogany which has matured in a lovely honey colour. The rectangular central section has got adjoining D end shaped leaves. Below the frieze, there is a cockbeaded shallow drawer with original round wooden knob.

The Pembroke stands on square tapering legs and brass cup castors.
The table is of a good size and when open with the drop leaves up, can be used for a variety of purposes. There is a lot of scope for use and the table can adapt to be an attractive hall table or just as an occasional table.

I can only describe the table as a celebration of English craftsmanship of good quality belonging to the Georgian period.
