This quality antique George IV (c 1820) mahogany linen press has a moulded cornice above a two beautifully figured strung panels framed with a pour of ebony with a brass bead to the doors long side. 

The doors with original lock and key open to reveal five mahogany sliding trays.

The lower section of the linen press has two short and two long drawers which retain the original locks and beautiful turned handles.

The linen press stands above a shaped apron on bracket feet.

This beautiful piece of antique furniture has original back boards, splits into three sections for ease of removals, is a rich warm golden mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Condition: Good condition throughout. Made with the highest quality timbers.
