This is a lovely pair of hall chairs in the style of Maple & Co  - the largest and most successful British furniture retailers and cabinet makers in the Victorian and Edwardian periods. The chairs which are in mahogany have beautiful and intricate carved back rests over a serpentine front and are upholstered in beige velour with a floral pattern.

The upholstery is in good condition on both chairs.

Constructed from quality mahogany the chairs are firm and robust and have slim elegant cabriole legs terminating in pad front feet.

The chairs date back to circa 1890/1900

They are indeed an attractive antique piece of furniture ready to grace your home retaining all the charm and character of the Edwardian/Victorian period.

Condition Report: The chairs are in very good condition with hardly any blemishes albeit minor scratches at the back. The upholstery is in very good condition.
