This is a wonderful Art Deco silver plated 3 piece tea set that comprises a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug. The teapot finial and handle are in matching style and are made of black Bakelite which gives the tea pot an elegant touch. This appealing tea set is octagonal shaped in design and each piece rests on a pedestal foot.
The tea set is marked outside by the rim of each item marked G&CG, EPNS. This is normally the position of sterling silver marks. The tea set was made around 1903 in Glasgow, Scotland. This set is in very good shining condition and is decorative and practical and has been well cared for over the years.

Condition Report: This is a wonderful and very attractive tea set that seldom becomes available due to its uniqueness and rarity. The set is in good shining condition. There is a very small dent ( shown in the photographs) on the teapot. There is evidence of small tarnish mark again on the lower side of the teapot. The trade marks are slightly faded due to polish on the sugar bowl. The tea pot shows some light tea staining. Please review carefully the high definition photographs to check the tea set.
