This is an elegant and strong piece of furniture with a great deal of character and indeed history! This is a piece that would complement all interiors including modern ones where it would provide an attractive accent as a hall table or table lamp. Like all our furniture this is ready to be used and enjoyed.

It has exceptional intense colouration - dark chocolate and patina which is further enhanced by the beautifully figured top.

The table top sides fold down on either side to make the table a very useful size when not in use. If wanted the sides can be opened making this a very useful and versatile piece of antique furniture.

Below the top there is a marvelous and spacious drawer with pretty small brass embossed knobs. The opposite end of the table has a false drawer front, so the working drawer is a good deep one with plenty of storage space.

The whole table is supported on slender yet firm and strong ring turned legs with elegant and useful castors.

Dimensions:

H: 72 cm (28 inches), W: 84 cm (33 inches), D : 49 cm (19 inches) when open each wing: D: 24cm (9.5 inches)

Condition: Visually this is a striking antique piece full of character and history! It would not go unnoticed in any location in the house or office. Please note this is an antique piece and as such very old. The polish of the table top shows a half ring mark and a slightly faded five pence size spot. There are some dents and some minor scratches which blend well and give character to the table. Please see the high definition photographs to check the items listed in this section.
