The table is a "D-end" shape and the top is made from very high quality Mahogany which is dense, heavy and carefully chosen for its finely figured grain. The edge is reeded to match the fine reeded legs, which is a typical late Georgian, Regency period feature. The top is in two halves connected by brass hinges and fold to open up, with the rear legs hinged from the frame to support the fold over leaf.

The mahogany front is inlaid with boxwood stringing with a rectangular freeze which adds to its quality and design. The legs are elegantly turned with a bobbin top then finely reeded with a further lower bobbin tuning and tapered to terminate in brass castors.

The whole piece exudes a combination of fine quality as expected by the GILLOWS style and design combined with the elegant lines of the English Regency Period.
This eye catching antique table would prove an ideal piece for a hallway with a beautiful lamp or provide the perfect setting for tea with friends
