This is a lovely period Victorian (c 1900) mahogany and walnut rectangular coffee or occasional table with a piecrust edge and very attractive joining stretchers. The wood of the body of the table is in a rich mahogany colour and the top of the table is in walnut with its attractive grain which has aged beautifully.

The table has turned legs and a very attractive cross stretcher with a lovely finial right in the centre.

This attractive piece would prove an ideal piece as an occasional table or a window table with a beautiful lamp or important porcelain and china.

Condition report: This lovely example of Victorian rectangular table shows some signs of age and use. These can be seen on the top of the table where there are some fine scratches and a patch where the polish is slightly worn due to use. There are some minor dents along the piecrust and the skirt of the table as shown on the photographs and mentioned here for accuracy and believed to be a testimony of the age and use of this very fine old piece of antique furniture. Please review carefully the photographs to see the items listed here.
