This is a lovely Victorian round tilt top table in beautiful figured mahogany. Constructed from quality solid mahogany which has aged in an attractive dark colour, the table has a circular top with moulded edge.
It stands firmly on a solid octagonal column with an elegant circular base, turned collar and standing on claw feet on ceramic castors. This table can seat between four to six people.
The top is released by a metal catch. When not in use the table top can be tilted open to save space. The table is a practical, sturdy and elegant piece of Victorian furniture with a lot of history. This item dates back to circa 1880
Condition report: This is an antique piece over 100 years old and as with all antique furniture there are signs of age and use. The polish of the table is worn as shown in the photographs. Please review the photographs of this lovely table.
